Ki-Ralah

(pronounced : kee rarh larh)

nicknamed Ralah

she is a high ranking member of her pack, just below the betas. fun loving and happy. she wears a head dress with beading, bones and a feather, a necklet with beads, three leg bangles;two with beads and a tail bangle with beads.

her fur is tonal shades of steel grey and her decorations are midnight blue, black and gun metal grey with white bones

unlike many wolves here on deviantart i am not writing a story/comic strip about her and her pack, i draw her and her pack simply for my own entertainment and practice.

with Ralah i was developing a new, more refined style of drawing and this has continued into other animals including my moose ([link]) and other drawings. i really like the clearer style and will continue to use it in the future

materials used : 4h pencil for initial drawing, faber-castell india ink pens: super-fine, fine, various soft grades of sketching pencils for fur, watercolour pencils for decorations. done on medium coarse sketching paper
